Biographical Info


Tony Yip is a founding partner of Brodshatzer, Wallace, Spoon & Yip, APC and has over 30 years of experience in public accounting. Mr. Yip is a forensic accountant who has testified hundreds of times as an expert witness on financial matters related to issues in family law, civil litigation, business appraisals, personal injury, wrongful death and other civil litigation matters. His experience includes the analysis of hundreds of businesses in numerous industries including, manufacturing, distribution, retail, construction, restaurant, real estate, health care, and professional practices.

Mr. Yip has been jointly retained as the neutral expert and/or appointed by the Court as a §730 Special Master in hundreds of family law matters. His family law experience includes valuation of closely-held businesses and professional practices; determining income available for support; analysis of marital standard of living; tracing of community and separate property interests; apportionment of stock options and restricted stock between community and separate property; apportionment of retirement plans; complex Moore/Marsden calculations; Pereira and Van Camp analyses, and; forensic and investigative analysis
